THE GREAT DETOUR! via Budlaan - Busay - Sirao Road
In what was supposed to be a very nominal ride to Asturias, where we would be spending a night on the property of our friend's cousin, turned into an explicit-laden misadventure of hellish proportions. The trip was to traverse the legendary-and-mythical Transcentral Highway (TCH) but unfortunately for us, a large tree fell that blocked the highway on both lanes, and causing electrical lines to domino. Moreover, the next nearest route to the destination is a long 100km stretch opposite from our roadblock. We had to find a "shortcut" across the mountains and found one (via Budlaan - Busay - Sirao Road), with utter disregard to the unknowns. Near-disaster ensued... Road blocked by landslide...
